Honey, I Shrunk the Kids
A misdirected baseball brings four kids into an attic workshop where their father Wayne’s latest invention, an electro-magnetic shrink-ray, accidently transforms them to just a quarter-inch tall. Frustrated by what he believes to be a failed experiment, Wayne throws the machine in the trash and the kids with it. Their journey back to the house is an adventure, both harrowing and humorous, as they encounter bees, ants, scorpions and the hazards of a lawnmower before their father can find and bring them back to size.

For 40 years, Asleep at the Wheel has kept rolling along, dedicated to keeping American roots music, especially western swing, alive and kicking. Along the way they have earned nine Grammy awards, released more than 25 albums, and filled venues of all sizes. Returning to the Bankhead Theater for the fifth time, Asleep at the Wheel’s toe-tapping music and rich harmonies hold a unique place both in the music world and in the hearts of their fans.

Disney's The Little Mermaid - Tri-Valley Repertory Theater - Main Stage
Based on one of Hans Christian Andersen’s most beloved stories and the classic animated film, Disney’s The Little Mermaid is a hauntingly beautiful love story for the ages. With music by eight-time Academy Award winner, Alan Menken, lyrics by Howard Ashman and Glenn Slater and a compelling book by Doug Wright, this fishy fable will capture your heart with its irresistible songs, including “Under the Sea,” “Kiss the Girl” and “Part of Your World.”

Ariel, King Triton’s youngest daughter, wishes to pursue the human Prince Eric in the world above, bargaining with the evil sea witch, Ursula, to trade her tail for legs. But the bargain is not what it seems, and Ariel needs the help of her colorful friends, Flounder the fish, Scuttle the seagull and Sebastian the crab to restore order under the sea.

Rockapella and The Company
Awarded the Contemporary A Cappella Society (CASA) Lifetime Achievement Award in 2014, Rockapella rocks the house with just one instrument – their voices – but with astonishing full-band sound. From singing Doo Wop on street corners and appearing on “Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego?” to sold-out shows worldwide, Rockapella remains one of the most sophisticated pop vocal groups. They will be joined by The Company Men, nationally recognized for their ability to put a contemporary spin on music from an earlier era and a timeless style on current hits. Enjoy the magic of pure vocal harmonies, from vintage Mills Brothers and classic jazz, to modern rock and hip hop.

Indigenous with Chris Duarte
A second generation bluesman, Mato Nanji was born on a Sioux Reservation in South Dakota. He grew up listening to his father’s band and was equally inspired by the music of such legends as B.B. King, Jimi Hendrix and Stevie Ray Vaughn. Indigenous, originally a sibling band, has since evolved, but Nanji continues to deliver a rich, guitar-heavy blues sound, paying tribute to his native heritage through the storytelling of his songs. Guitarist Chris Duarte’s style has been called “ferocious blues.” A sorcerer of tone, his music is a constant evolution of sound and tempo so no matter how many times you see him, no two shows are alike. Indigenous, featuring Mato Nanji, on stage with Chris Duarte is guaranteed to be a once-in-a-lifetime blues-rock experience.
