The City of Livermore, Airport staff and tenants invite the Tri-Valley community to the 25th Annual Airport Open House on Saturday, Oct. 1, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Livermore Municipal Airport.

This year's Open House will feature:

  • Static display of general aviation, military/warbirds, antique/classic, experimental/homebuilt and aerobatic type aircraft
  • Military/warbird fly-bys
  • Representatives from local flight schools
  • Airborne law enforcement and air rescue aircraft
  • Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department Safety House
  • Livermore Police Department Exhibits
  • Aviation Vendor Display/Information
  • Mobile gourmet food from the Food Truck Mafia

The award winning Pirates Of Emerson are bringing chills, thrills a cut throat terror to the Bay Area for the 28th year. Consuming over 4 acres including 4 haunted Attractions:
Demented Dolls, Pirates of Emerson, Halloween Hell, Seesawz Circus

In addition to the Haunted Attractions, tickets include: Live Music, Mazes, Misfortune Tell, Frightmares Sideshow, Nightly Entertainment, and more.

Admission: Note:  ALL tickets on online.  NO onsite tickets.
General Admission - $38.00.  Access to all four of our Haunted Houses.

Speed Pass Admission - $58.00.  Access to all four our Haunted Houses plus entrance to Frightmares & Oddities. Speed Pass Ticket holders have their own entrance lines, which are generally much, much shorter than General lines. These are normally only needed on busy weekends.

Landlubber:  $20 LandLubber ticket holders will gain access to the compound ONLY. No Haunted Houses included. You can enjoy the ambiance, entertainment and listen to the music. This ticket was created for those chaperoning a group and members of your party who are too scared to go into the Haunted Houses!

It’s the G & M Farms Cornfield Maze and Pumpkin Patch in Livermore, the farm that is so fun it has been featured TWICE on the David Letterman Show! Bring the whole family – there’s harvest fun for all ages at G&M Farms, and it’s easy to find, right off I-580 at Airway Drive in Livermore.

Find your way through the maze, then enjoy G&M Farms’ huge Pumpkin Patch with pumpkins of all sizes – the kids can pick their own! For Mom, there’s fresh produce, decorative gourds and Indian corn. Your little ones will love G&M’s farm animals and the free straw bale maze, pony rides on the weekends, and don’t forget to ride G & M Farms’ famous Cow Train!

Artwalk
An anticipated 4,000 people will fill the streets, parks, and plazas of Downtown Livermore for the Tri-Valley’s Annual ArtWalk, turning Downtown Livermore into an “art district for the day” on Saturday, October 8 from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm. The Tri-Valley’s premiere one-day art festival, presented by Livermore Valley Arts, celebrates the many ways the Arts bring the community together in a showcase that features handmade and original works by over 200 artists, as well as live music, performances, hands-on crafts, and community art projects, on sidewalks and plazas, in parks and galleries, surrounded by boutique shops, wine tasting rooms, and restaurants in historic Downtown Livermore.

Throughout the day, live music performances will be presented on the spacious Bankhead Plaza, Livermorium, McLeod Street and at Stockmen’s Park.

Ghost Walk 2020 - Museum on Main

Meet the ghosts of Pleasanton's past in this uniquely spooky annual event held by Museum on Main. Ghost Walk is a two hour guided walking tour of Pleasanton’s most haunted sites along Main Street in the downtown area...and you never know what spirits you might encounter along the way!

​After a short introduction about the history of paranormal activity in the area, your Ghost Host will guide you on this haunted tour of the things that go bump in the night! This family-friendly tour, held for over sixteen years, continues to be a popular event during the Halloween season!

In-Person tours depart the museum every 30 minutes between 6pm and 8pm on the nights of Ghost Walk. Most of the tour’s stops are outside, but in a few locations groups may be able to go inside the haunted buildings. There may be two stops that require the use of stairs to access the ghosts. The walks take place rain or shine - so dress appropriately! Costumes are encouraged!

Tickets for In-Person tours will be kept at Museum on Main Will Call. Please arrive at Museum on Main, 603 Main Street, Pleasanton, CA 94566 at least 10 minutes prior to your tour time to collect your tickets and check in.

Group Ticketing:

For Ghost Walk large group ticketing (10 people or more), please email us with your preferred date and time. We will work with you to set a tour time that is suitable for your group.​ There is no group discount as this program is a fundraiser for the museum.

Livermore Farmer's Market & Thirsty Thursdays
Fresh Produce, freshly baked bread, and much more are for sale.  There is also a variety of food for sale including Barbeque and kettle corn.  The History Center and Livermore Art Association Gallery are also open during the Farmer's Market hours.

The third Thursday of each month is Thirsty Thursday!
There will be wine tasting from local Wineries.
Local Bands will be playing, and arts and crafts will be on display.

Niles Canyon Railway.
Offers Train Rides through historic Niles Canyon on restored vintage trains, on the original transcontinental Railroad route.  Board the train in Sunol or Niles, and ride to the opposite end, then take the return trip when you are ready.
Location:  Downtown Sunol and Niles

Admission:  (prices as of 2021)

The Livermore History Center contains a variety is displays of Livermore's history as well as historical photos and other information.
Knowledgeable docents can answer your questions and provide you with information about Livermore's past.

Third Sunday Duarte Garage Open
Built in 1915, along the newly dedicated Lincoln Highway, the garage served as a gas station, service station, and a car dealership (in the south portion, added in 1923).
The garage was restored by the Livermore Heritage Guild, and provides a number of historical displays.
The restored LHG fire trucks (as seen in the Rodeo Parade each year) are housed there.
A number of events are hosted there each year including the LHG Annual General Meeting.

Last Sunday Hagemann Ranch Open
Today’s Hagemann Ranch is the last 4.5 acres of continuously operated ranch land from the original rancho el Valle de San José, a Mexican land grant applied for in 1835 by the children of José Joaquin Bernal. The original Rancho consisted of 48,000 acres encompassing much of present day Sunol, Pleasanton and the northwest section of Livermore.
A variety of equipment and vehicles are on display in the historic buildings.
