Concert in the Park Downtown Pleasanton's "Concert in the Park" live music series, sponsored by Safeway, is a fun, family-friendly way to kick off your weekend – all summer long! Visit Lions Wayside Park every Friday in June, July and August for live music, raffle prizes and fun from 7 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. Admission is free! Just bring a blanket or lawn chair and enjoy the show. Series This is the 8th year of the Intermediate (50/70) World Series, and is being held in Livermore. 6 US and 6 International teams will come to Livermore for a double elimination tournament (prelim rounds) ending in the crowning of US and International Champions, who will play each other for the World Championship. Third Sunday | Duarte Garage Open Built in 1915, along the newly dedicated Lincoln Highway, the garage served as a gas station, service station, and a car dealership (in the south portion, added in 1923). The garage was restored by the Livermore Heritage Guild, and provides a number of historical displays. The restored LHG fire trucks (as seen in the Rodeo Parade each year) are housed there. Last Sunday | Hagemann Ranch Open Today’s Hagemann Ranch is the last 4.5 acres of continuously operated ranch land from the original rancho el Valle de San José, a Mexican land grant applied for in 1835 by the children of José Joaquin Bernal. The original Rancho consisted of 48,000 acres encompassing much of present day Sunol, Pleasanton and the northwest section of Livermore.
