#185A - Granada HS Baseball Team then the GHS Dance Team

1st is the GHS Baseball team riding on the Truck:
Granada High School Baseball had an incredible, record-breaking season! As the most successful team in program history, they finished the season with an outstanding 32-1 record and going away with multiple titles -- Bishop Gorman Invitational Champions, EBAL Champions, NCS Champions, and Northern CA State Champions! The team would like to recognize some of their biggest supporters: David Moore, GHS Athletic Director, Bryce Head GHS Asst. Athletic Director, and the community of Livermore for showing up and cheering them on each and every game!

2nd is the GHS Dance team following the Truck:
Granada High School Varsity Dance Team consists of 17 dancers this season representing all grade levels. The team specializes in pom, jazz and hip hop and performs at all football and basketball home games as well as rallies and other events on campus. The Granada dance team is excited to be performing in the rodeo parade for the first time and is looking forward to the upcoming school year to continue being leaders in promoting school spirit throughout the Granada community.

#189 - Wheels Rideo Bus
This 1966 Rideo bus is owned by the Livermore Amador Valley Transit Authority, operator of the Wheels bus service. This bus was originally part of Livermore's Rideo fleet. When Wheels assumed operation of Tri-Valley bus services in the mid-1980s, it acquired this historic treasure from the City of Livermore. The bus was in need of major restoration, so the agency secured federal funding to rehabilitate this piece of Livermore's history to its former glory. Wheels proudly present the completely restored Rideo bus! The City of Livermore is represented on the LAVTA Board of Directors by Vice Mayor Brittni Kiick and Councilmember Evan Branning.

 

 
#190 - Livermore/Pleasanton Fire Department With 1944 Mack Fire Engine
1945 Mack Fire Engine:
One of Pleasanton’s original motorized Fire Engines, this is a 1945 Mack. A big improvement from the hose carts that were pulled through the streets by horses or the firefighters themselves. Pleasanton’s original hose cart can be seen at Fire Department Headquarters on Nevada Street, and this antique 1945 Mack Fire Engine can be seen at Station 2 by the Stoneridge Mall. Drop by for a visit.

LPFD Fire Engine:
Here is one of Livermore-Pleasanton’s finest Fire Engines made by Pierce. It carries 500 gallons of water and has a 1500 gallon per minute fire pump powered by its 400-horsepower motor. This Engine carries over 2000 feet of hose, rescue equipment, salvage equipment, a wide assortment of specialty tools, ground ladders, and a full array of medical equipment to deliver advance life support. This Engine is staffed by 3 firefighters 24-7-365. The Livermore-Pleasanton Firefighters respond to over 16,000 emergencies per year.
