The rodeo parade is on Saturday morning of "Rodeo Weekend", which is the second weekend of June.  It is held on 2nd Street.  These pictures are from June 11, 2011.

#268 - Mendenhall Middle School Mustang Marching Band

Our next group is the Mendenhall Middle School Mustang Marching Band. They are proud to represent their school and community in this years parade. Under the direction of Mr. Randy Watson, with Drum Major Jane Wu, this 55 member marching unit will perform "A Touch of Sousa". On behalf of all the students and staff of Mendenhall School, they invite you to sit back, relax, and enjoy their performance!
 


 

 

 

#269 - Relay For Life of Livermore
 

 
The next group is Relay For Life, part of the American Cancer Society's flagship fundraiser campaign. Relays take place all over the country. Relay For Life celebrates the lives of people who have battled cancer, remembers loved ones lost and help fight back against cancer. This will be the 10th year for Livermore Relay For Life. #270 - Alameda County District Attorney, Nancy E. O'Malley
 

 
Let's give a warm welcome for our next entry, Alameda County District Attorney Nancy O'Malley. Nancy is the first female District Attorney in Alameda County and a nationally recognized expert in the advancement of victim's rights. Nancy is committed to keeping our communities safe, partnering with local law enforcement and local organizations such as the Tri-Valley Haven Shelter and Mothers With a Purpose. DA O'Malley established the "HEAT WATCH" program, focused on outreach and education to combat child exploitation and is working to create a Youth Court to better address the youth needs of Alameda County. DA Nancy O'Malley is proud to serve the people of Livermore and the Tri-Valley area.

 


#271 - Triple Threat Performing Arts

This next group is from Triple Threat Performing Arts. They offer classes in ballet, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, musical theater, tap and hip-hop for ages 2-80. They have both competative and recreational programs taught by professional and experienced instructors. This summer, they are offering free dance classes starting July 19th through August 11th. They alo provide summer camps which include Princess Tea Part, ballet intensive, hip-hop intensive and their annual competative team intensive class.
