Buffalo Rome
Blending an earthy feel reminiscent of the 1970’s West Coast country rock scene with today’s contemporary country sound, Buff alo Rome brings a vinyl vibe to the digital age. Although only together a short time, their strikingly pure three-part harmony has already earned them a broad audience. With three individual, unique styles and musical tastes, Michael Visconti, Kevin Douglas and Billy McCorvey bring their life experiences and life stories together in a fresh, mature sound that is as lived-in as a pair of vintage Levi’s.

Asleep at the Wheel
Over the last 40 years, Asleep at the Wheel has stuck to their cause of keeping western swing music alive and kicking. Along the way they earned nine Grammy awards, recorded more than 25 albums, and continue to fi ll venues in a never-ending schedule of one nighters that would make a vaudevillian dizzy. As frontman Ray Benson puts it, their musical style is “a giant melting pot” – from cowboy fiddle tunes and country bluegrass, to blues and swing by the big band greats. It’s a blend that guarantees a night of toe-tapping, irresistible music.

10th Annual Livermore Relay for Life
One Day! One Night! One Community! One Fight!

Come join us at the 10th annual Livermore Relay For Life!!!

Relay For Life is the American Cancer Society's flagship annual fundraiser. Relays take place all over the country, and for the tenth consecutive year, Livermore will have its own Relay. It's an incredible event - last year we raised over $216, 000 for cancer research! But it's much more than just a fundraiser – it’s an amazing bonding experience. Virtually everyone has been touched, directly or indirectly, by cancer and a very important part of this event is celebrating cancer survivors and remembering those who have lost their battle with cancer. Many cancer patients look forward to this event all year long and we make this as special as possible for them.

This will be the fourth year that we are recognizing Care Givers as an important part of a cancer patients’ life and invite all Care Givers to join us to
Celebrate, Remember & Fight Back!

This is a 24-hour event, starting at 9am on Saturday, June 23rd and ending at 9am on Sunday, June 24th, on the track at Livermore High School. Not only is this a great fundraiser; it’s also lots of FUN! Teams are formed to raise funds and take turns walking laps. They set up a tent and camp out at the event. The relationships that develop during this time are impressive. There are prizes for tent decoration, themed laps, and most money raised. You’ll also enjoy live entertainment, a variety of games and activities, raffles, kid’s camp, great food and of course lots and lots of FUN!!! Many charity walks are geared towards adults only, but Relay For Life is a very kid friendly, family event where all are welcome.

We are in need of additional volunteers. If you are willing to volunteer any of your time it would be greatly appreciated. If you are interested please contact Jacky Poulsen at VolunteersRFL@gmail.com.
