The Alameda County Fair is held in the Summer each year at the
Fairgrounds in Pleasanton.
Normally it begins in late June (in 2009 it began July 1) and runs about 17 days
into early to mid July.
Beginning in 2009 the fair begins on a Wednesday instead of a Friday. It
was closed on Mondays in 2009. It is closed on Tuesdays in 2010.
