Fall is just around the corner and it’s time to start thinking about the upcoming holidays. Visit downtown Pleasanton Saturday and Sunday, October 4 & 5 for our Fall Sidewalk Sale and Preview. The event is sponsored by the Pleasanton Downtown Association and runs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and noon to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday.
Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas will be here before you know it! Get ahead of the game and leisurely stroll through downtown and visit the many unique shops. Take advantage of the great sales both inside and out! Merchants will have special sale tables outside and run promotions over the weekend. From unique gift shops, art galleries, clothing and accessory boutiques, sweets and treats and more, the Fall Sidewalk Sale and Preview offers a unique shopping experience in a charming and friendly atmosphere.

Come spend a fun-filled Fall afternoon with friends enjoying live music, dancing, food, and of course, beverages derived from "hops" and picked from the "vine"! ADMISSION IS FREE!
Sit back and relax or brush off your dancing shoes 'cause local favorite Word of Mouth will be "in the house" or in our case, "in the parking lot" to entertain you with the sounds of great dance and top 40's songs.
We'll be pouring a variety of beers, including microbrews and wines from the neighboring Livermore Valley on Sunday, October 5, from 1 – 5 pm.
The event will take place in the parking lot behind the Cheese Factory building at 830 Main Street.
Cabana Dave and his yummy barbeque will be on hand along with other tasty treats. We will also have a selection of art and craft vendors on hand so you can sip and shop as you enjoy the afternoon and the music.
If you bring in receipts from shopping or dining in downtown Pleasanton dated October from 1st through the 5th totaling $25 or more, you’ll have the opportunity to win great prizes throughout the afternoon.

Since 1981, San Francisco Fleet Week has been an annual opportunity for Northern Californians to honor the men and women serving in the United States Navy, Coast Guard and Marines. This year approximately 9,000 crewmembers on visiting ships will arrive in the City to participate in Fleet Week. They are all extraordinary individuals and this is our chance to learn about their character and skill, and to observe the pride with which they carry out their duties.
