#69  US Military Armed Forces
1st Place - Color Guard (Military)

Here are representatives of our U.S. Military.

We have members of active military from the Army and Navy recruiting offices in Livermore.

We also have The VETERAN MILITARY ESCORT TEAM on their motorcycles. This group provides homecoming escort services for active military, and support for families of our fallen heroes, returning from Afghanistan and Iraq. They've been participating in the Rodeo Parade for 13 years.

We thank them all for their service.


 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 
#70  M.A.S.H. Jeep
1st Place - Antique Vehicles

This World War 1944 Jeep was used extensively in the 20th Century Fox T.V. series M.A.S.H. - you remember the 1970's show about the Korean War, right? This Jeep also appeared in the movies "Patton" and "Tora, Tora, Tora."

Today it is dedicated to all the Korean War Veterans.


 

 

 

 
#71  Sunshine Dance & Cheer Studio
3rd Place - Novelty Unit Junior

Sunshine Dance & Cheer is the newest studio in Livermore that offers ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, cheer, and an award winning competitive dance team.

Sunshine dancers experience a fun- loving, and nurturing environment where confidence, team work and creativity is promoted while providing age-appropriate choreography.

SDC is now enrolling students for summer dance camps which include a different theme each week such as Disney Princess, Pop Star, hip hop, Jr. Jazz, Dance & Cheer. Camps are available for ages 4-14.


 

 

 

 
#72  Cresta Blanca Service unit of the Girl Scouts of America
And here are the CRESTA BLANCA GIRL SCOUTS!

Part of the Girl Scouts of Northern CA, Cresta Blanca Service Unit is home to almost 700 girls and families in Livermore. Proceeds from candy/nut sales in the Fall and cookies in the spring help fund activities from Monster Mash to camping, hiking, and backpacking. Girl Scouting builds girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place.


 

 

 
#73  Livermore Filipino-American Organization
52 years strong, the Livermore Filipino-American Organization’s goal is to promote the Filipino heritage and culture and to enhance unity among Filipino-Americans. Events such as Filipiniana and caroling help raise funds that go towards academic scholarships for deserving high school graduates of both Livermore High and Granada High schools.

#75  Alzheimer's Association-East Bay Walk to End Alzheimer's
Here are representatives from the Alzheimer's Association of the East Bay. Their motto is

"We’re the brains behind saving yours! "

#76  Livermore Shakespeare Festival
Livermore Shakespeare Festival presents their 17th season of Shakespeare in the Vineyard this summer on the grounds of Wente Vineyards. Join the cast in singing “The Ballad of Buckaroo Bard” – an ode to Livermore’s very special “Shakespeare” mascot!
