Entries 75-80

#76 - Modern Cemex Cement Mixer Truck
Driving innovation forward, this modern Cemex mixer truck represents today’s sustainable, efficient building solutions. Locally sourced materials. High-quality service. A better future built right here in Livermore. Proud silver sponsor of the Livermore Rodeo!

#77 - Golden State Fleet Services Towing and Transport
Golden State Fleet Services is the Tri Valleys largest towing and transport company. With locations in Livermore, Dublin and San Ramon, we provide fast, reliable and professional service for all of your towing and transport needs!

#78 - Wheels (LvAmVyTrAth) Rideo Bus
This 1966 Rideo bus is owned by the Livermore Amador Valley Transit Authority, the operator of the Wheels bus service. This bus was originally part of Livermore's Rideo fleet. When Wheels assumed operation of Tri-Valley bus services in the mid-1980s, it acquired this historic treasure from the City of Livermore.
The bus was in need of major restoration, so the agency secured federal funding to rehabilitate this piece of Livermore's history to its former glory. A wheel proudly presents the completely restored Rideo bus!
The City of Livermore is represented on the LAVTA Board of Directors by Vice Mayor Evan Branning and Councilmember Kristie Wang.

#79 - Livermore/Pleasanton Fire Department With 1944 Mack Fire Engine
1945 Mack:
One of Pleasanton’s original motorized Fire Engines, this is a 1945 Mack. While being in a convertible in the winter and having no double clutch, the manual transmission may sound like a rough assignment for Pleasanton’s original Firefighters. Before engines like this were purchased, Pleasanton’s hose carts were drug through the streets by horses or the firefighters themselves. Pleasanton’s original hose cart can be seen at Fire Department Headquarters on Nevada Street, and this antique 1945 Mack Fire Engine can be seen at Station 2 by the Stoneridge Mall.

LPFD Fire Truck:
Here is one of Livermore-Pleasanton’s finest Fire Trucks made by Pierce. It has a 100’ ladder to rescue people in the City’s tallest buildings. The firefighter in the back steers the rear-end to allow access into the tightest turns. This Truck carries over 200 feet of ladders, heavy duty auto extrication tools, high angle rope rescue equipment, a wide assortment of specialty tools, and a full array of medical equipment to deliver advance life support. This Truck is staffed by 4 firefighters 24-7-365. The Livermore-Pleasanton Firefighters respond to over 17,000 emergencies per year.

#80 - Livermore Public Works Maintenance Division
City of Livermore’s Maintenance Division mini-sweeper – a.k.a. “The Cowboy”, chasing down the two electric utility carts – a.k.a. “The Bulls”. Let’s hope “The Cowboy” can lasso these two “bulls” before they can do any damage!
