As You Like It - Shakespeare's Associates
A romantic comedy

In the play known for the famous line “All the world’s a stage,” two cousins, raised as sisters, prove the power of their love for each other by running away from an oppressive father and regime. In a forest made magical by love, passions are ignited as the rules of society are softened to fit the natural world. As the artifice of society is worn away, that which is truly important becomes clear, and each character finds their own path to happiness: the fathers, the lovers, and even the clowns. Yes, there will be clowns!

The King and I - Tri-Valley Repertory Theater - Main Stage
East versus West makes for a dramatic, richly textured and ultimately uplift- ing tale of enormous fascination. It is 1862 in Siam when an English widow, Anna Leonowens, and her young son arrive at the Royal Palace in Bangkok, having been summoned by the King to serve as tutor to his many children and wives. The King is largely considered to be a barbarian by those in the West, and he seeks Anna’s assistance in changing his image, if not his ways. With both keeping a firm grip on their respective traditions and values, Anna and the King grow to understand and, eventually, respect one another, in a truly unique love story. Along with the dazzling score and the incomparable Jerome Robbins’ ballet, ‘The Small House of Uncle Thomas,’ it is one of the all-time marvels of the musical stage.

New Christy Minstrels
The New Christy Minstrels forged a fresh folk sound in the 1960s with a lighthearted style that was welcomed in the heart of that challenging era. Original songs including “Green, Green” and “Today,” as well as their cover of “Sing in the Sunshine,” took them straight to the top of the charts and their debut album won a Grammy Award in 1963. With creator Randy Sparks at the helm, the New Christy Minstrels still deliver the rich harmonies and tuneful melodies that have enchanted fans for decades.

Gilbert & Sullivan's first sensation, and one of the most beloved comic operas of all time. The story of a lowly sailor's love for his Captain's daughter, and their brave defiance of her father's demand that she marry the buffooonish First Lord of the Admiralty, still touches the heart and tickles the funny bone. Rockapella
Rockapella, masters of the vocal art form “a cappella,” rocks the house with just one instrument – their voices – but with astonishing full-band sound. From early years singing Doo Wop on NYC street corners and appearances on “Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego?”, to sold-out shows worldwide, Rockapella has become one of today’s most sophisticated pop vocal groups. Their concerts are a night of pure musical magic, from vintage Mills Brothers harmonies and classic jazz, to modern rock and hip hop.
