The view over the vineyards looking south-east

Similar view, at a wider angle.

Looking east.  Between the trees above the roller is Cresta Blanca.
This is the broken away hill that the Cresta Blanca winery, founded by Charles Wetmore, was named for.
The Cresta Blanca put Livermore on the map as a wine producer, when it won the Grand Prize at the 1889 Paris Exposition.  It was the first California wine to win a competition in France.
The winery grounds are now the Wente Event Center, where the Restaurant and Golf Course are located.
