Finding Nemo Kids - Pleasanton Youth Theatre Company
Disney’s Finding Nemo KIDS is a 30-minute musical adaptation of the beloved 2003 Pixar movie Finding Nemo, with new music by award-winning songwriting team Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez. Marlin, an anxious and over-protective clownfish, lives in the Great Barrier Reef with his kid Nemo, who longs to explore the world beyond their anemone home. But when Nemo is captured and taken to Sydney, Marlin faces his fears and sets off on an epic adventure across the ocean. With the help of lovable characters such as optimistic Dory, laid-back sea turtle Crush, and the supportive Tank Gang, Marlin and Nemo both overcome challenges on their journey to find each other and themselves.

Featuring memorable songs such as “Just Keep Swimming,” “Fish Are Friends Not Food,” and “Go With the Flow,” Finding Nemo KIDS brings a vibrant underwater world to life on stage in a story full of family, friendship, and adventure.

James Nestor: Unlocking the Power or Breath - Rae Dorough Speaker Series
There’s a secret to solving workplace stress and burn out. It’s surprisingly simple: breathe. Join us for the Rae Dorough Speaker Series, “Unlocking the Power of Breath with James Nestor.” An engaging, humble and elegant science journalist, James Nestor, explains that breathing is the key to transforming our lives—more than diet, sleep, or exercise. Drawing on his instant New York Times bestseller “Breath”—which spent 18 weeks on the bestseller list in its first year and has sold over 2 million copies worldwide—James turns the conventional wisdom about our most basic biological function on its head. He teaches us that even slight adjustments to our breathing can profoundly improve workplace efficiency, athletic performance, anxiety, and sleep. This timely conversation is not to be missed, Live at The Bankhead.
