Livermore Amador Valley Transit Authority (Wheels)  Public transportation in Livermore, Pleasanton, and Dublin. 

ACE (Altamont Commuter Express) train, running from Stockton to San Jose, with 2 stations in Livermore and one in Pleasanton.  Acerider web site.

Cable TV
Comcast (formally AT&T Cable Services, formally TCI) is the cable service for serving the Tri-Valley area.
Besides cable TV service, Internet access is offered via cable modem and local phone service is offered over the cable (although they do not appear to be taking new accounts for phone service).

Service Livermore and Dublin Pleasanton
Curbside Recycling Weekly pickup in provided 64 gallon container.  Single stream (no separating required).  The inside of the lid indicates what is permitted. Recyclable items are removed from the regular trash at the transfer station by Pleasanton Garbage Service employees on an automated conveyer.
Green Waste Weekly pickup in provided 96 gallon container. Bi-Weekly pickup from a provided 64 gallon cart.  Will soon become weekly.
Food Scrap Livermore-Dublin Disposal passed out food scrap canisters for under the sink in November 2003.  The food scraps are to be transferred to the green waste.  Pleasanton will soon start food scrap recycling.  It will go in the green trash.
Motor Oil Motor oil can be put out by the curb for pickup.  You must use the containers supplied by Livermore-Dublin Disposal.  Call, and up to 2 of the 1 gallon containers will be delivered on your next pickup day.
