The Concert in the Park is held in Lion's Wayside Park in
downtown Pleasanton each Friday evening from the first week in June to the first
week in September.
A very large crowd turns out for these events.
I have driven by the park at 5:45am and seen people putting out blankets with
many more blankets already in place.
On this day I came by about noon, and it seemed like most of the park was
covered.
