Each year in July, Alden Lane Nursery and the Livermore Art Association present Art Under the Oaks.
It is named for the many oak trees providing shade in Alden Lane Nursery, which are hundreds of years old.
There are many local artists displaying and selling their artwork with some performing their craft on site.
Musical performances are also scheduled throughout the two day event.

Some of the artwork carved from the 400 year old oak that was in the driveway of the nursery.
It was the victim of a bad storm last year.
