#22 - 2023 Community Service Award Recipient,
Sonia Sheffield, Driven by Dick Jones Sonya Sheffield is a community contributor who consistently dedicates her time and resources to a multitude of causes and organizations. Born and raised in the bay area, she has served with many clubs and community organizations including our Rotary Club of Livermore. Sonya is also an active volunteer and mentor, working with a range of non-profit organizations such as the Children’s Health Council, Little House in Menlo Park, the Livermore Valley Opera, Shepherd’s Gate, and BUILD. She is particularly dedicated to mentoring students through the Rotary READY program, helping students develop the skills and confidence they need to succeed. Sonya has 6 children, 14 grandchildren and 1 great grandson. |
