#31  Lvr Post 47 American Legion & Branch 287 Fleet Reserve Assoc
Here we have Livermore Post 47 of the American Legion.

The American Legion is a Congressionally chartered patriotic veteran’s organization in existence since 1919. It is committed to mentoring and sponsoring youth programs in the community, advocating honor and patriotism, promoting a strong national security and continued devotion to our fellow service members and veterans.

Livermore Post 47celebrates its 100th anniversary on August 25, 2019. Everyone is invited to our Post Centennial on August 24 and 25 at the Veterans Memorial Building.

   
#32  Napa Pepperettes (Senior Majorette Corps)
2nd Place - Majorette Corps/Drill Team (Senior)

The Napa Pepperettes Majorette Corps. is under the direction of Kellie Esser. This group has been representing the Napa Valley in parades and performances throughout California since 1951.

1st Place - Majorette Corps/Drill Team (Junior)

The Junior group of the Pepperettes range in age from 5 years and up. This is the 1st season of competition for many of these girls.

#35  Laurette Locke riding "Rosie"
1st Place - Silver Mounted (Open)

Please welcome Laurette Locke from Hilmar, California. She is riding "Rosie", an 11-year-old Palomino American Saddlebred. Her saddle was made by Victor Alexander in the 1940's and is Sterling Silver.

Last year Laurette was the California State Horsemen's Association High Point Champion.
