Entries 60 through 70

#60  Rose Murray, Future Horsewoman
Meet Rose Murray, Future Horsewoman!
This little cowgirl with a big personality is just three years old, riding her pony Billy.
She can't wait to be a Rodeo Princess and rope fast cattle! Her favorite color is blue and she loves parades.

#61  Payton & Her horse named Dog
Payton and her horse, Dog, first appeared in the Livermore Rodeo Parade in 2012, and has not missed one yet!
She rides thru Livermore today as a proud member of the California State Horseman's Association. She represents the Future Horsewoman, and is obviously happy to be here!

#62  Wells Fargo Stagecoach
And now, Ladies and Gentleman, here comes a living symbol of the American Spirit, the infamous Wells Fargo Stagecoach.
130 years ago, Wells Fargo arrived in Livermore, allowing our citizens to keep cool with Wells Fargo. In more than 30 years' service, Wells Fargo agent John L. Mitchel also represented the Union Ice Company—as well as the Central Pacific Railroad and Western Union Telegraph. Additionally, the energetic Michel served several terms as Livermore City Trustee.
Today driven by Paul Fellingham, the legendary stagecoach proudly rolls through our town in our Livermore Rotary Rodeo Parade, courtesy of the Livermore Wells Fargo branch.
Riding in the famed stagecoach is branch manager for the Wells Fargo in Livermore, Jeremy Helman, and his family and team.
Let’s give ‘em a big hand!

#63  Alameda County Cattlewomen, "BeefFabulous!"
Alameda County CattleWomen are celebrating 61 years of promoting beef through education, information and publicity.
BEEFabulous is a brand new Apple and Android application that will be your guide to sizzling and savory meals. It includes information on different beef cuts and delicious recipes.
Today to help celebrate, we have a few past Alameda County Cattlewomen presidents including Lynn Murray, Patsy Lund, Karen Sweet, and Nancy Mueller.
Patsy Lund and Karen Sweet are also past state presidents of the California CattleWomen.

#64  Cooleykatz Toys
And here is the Cooleykatz Toys wind-up toy car, a replica of a 1927 Bugatti, built by owners Pat and Nita Cooley!
Cooleykatz Toys is Downtown Livermore’s “old-school” specialty and educational toy store, with games, books, puzzles, toys, and fun stuff for all ages! And they're located right here on Second Street!
Cooleykatz Toys has been selected for the past four years as the “Best Toy Store in the East Bay,” and they were honored by State Assemblywoman Catherine Baker as “Small Business of the Month” this past December.
Cooleykatz Toys will be celebrating their 11th year in July, so come by and say “Hi!”

#65  Livermore Elementary After-School Band
"My School Band" is an elementary school band program for 4th and 5th grade students from various schools in town.
Marching today are students from Arroyo Seco, Smith, Jackson, and Sunset schools. Many of these students joined the band just 8 months ago!

#66  Alameda County Fair
A Big Howdy to Livermore and the Livermore Rodeo fans from the Alameda County Fair!
Our beautiful bovine princess Cowbella is inviting everyone to have the best summer ever this year at the Alameda County Fair. June 16th through July 9th.
Don't miss out on our opening day Cattle Drive next Friday, June 16, down Main Street Pleasanton.
We can't wait to see you there!

#67  KKIQ Radio Station
Tune your radio to 101.7 KKIQ.
That's our hometown station, playing today's hits and yesterday's favorites.

#68  V-Fit Fitness, My Way
"V-Fit Fitness My Way is an intimate fitness studio out on Airway Blvd. where dance, fitness, and art come together.
They offer fitness classes to everyone!
They have Zumba, Zumba Step, Zumba Toning, PiYo Live, and MixxedFit classes. (PiYo is a fusion of pilates and yoga)
There are also specialty classes such as West Coast Swing, Two Step, Belly Dancing, and Burlesque Chair.
They even offer lessons for the first dance at your wedding.
And their space is available to rent for dance rehearsals."

#69  Alzheimer's Association-East Bay Walk to End Alzheimer's
Serving our community 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, here is The Alzheimer’s Association!
Join them on October 21st at the 6th annual East Bay Walk to End Alzheimer's.
Visit ALZ.ORG/WALK for more information and check out their table at Salon 2152 right here on 2nd Street to donate or to start a team.

#70  3 Stooges Fan Club
The 3 Stooges Fan Club is still going strong.
This 1952 Chevy was originally owned by Bob Livermore – great-grandson of Robert Livermore, our town's namesake.
Bob won the bronc riding at the very first Livermore Rodeo 99 years ago and would be happy to know that his truck is still "in action".
