Please welcome our 2014 Livermore Rodeo Pro Queen Allison
Harman. Allison is 22 years old and resides in Acampo. She attends Cosumnes
River College where she is a double major in Agricultural Business and Animal
Science. Allison is your typical All-American girl who loves to be in the saddle
as much as possible with her horses Leo, Snuff, and Tucker. When she's not
riding you can find her hanging out with friends and family, playing with her
dog Cinch, or scrapbooking.

#8 - Livermore Junior Rodeo Queen for 2014 - Michelle Hewitt
|

Next, welcome our 2014 Livermore Junior Rodeo Queen, Michelle
Hewitt. Michelle resides with her family on a ranch in Mountain House. She is 17
years old and a junior in high school. She looks forward to becoming a large
animal veterinarian and a therapeutic riding instructor. In her free time,
Michelle enjoys volunteering at Reins In Motion which is a riding center for
disabled children. She also spends many evenings training her 4-H show pigs.
Michelle is riding her horse, "Madeline." Michelle enjoys everything there is
about showing and riding. To her, rodeo is not just a sport; it's a way of life.

#10 - 1923 Doane Truck
|

Please welcome Don Podesta, a long-time member and past president of the
Livermore Stockman's Rodeo Association and this year's Rodeo Director. He's
driving his 1923 DOANE chain driven truck. The truck was built in San Francisco
and was used to haul freight from the docks until 1962. It's one of only 12
known to still exist. Don fully restored the truck himself and it will be on
display at the Rodeo Grounds this weekend. Riding in the truck is the Podesta
family and Livermore Downtown Event Coordinator, Troy Matthews, along with
Marketing Director, Kara Johnsen.

#11 - Riata Ranch Cowboy Girls

Created in 1957, Riata Ranch International is under the
direction of Jennifer Welch. Riata Ranch is dedicated to enriching young women
through horsemanship and performance by building positive life skills in a safe
environment. It’s a unique concept that teaches valuable life lessons of hard
work, discipline, pride and respect. Didn't I see a TV movie titled Cowboy Girls
not long ago? You can see the Riata Ranch Cowboy Girls perform their trick
riding and roping today and tomorrow at the Livermore Rodeo. The Grand Entry
starts at 3:00 at the Robertson Park Rodeo Grounds.

#12 - Parade Marshall, Sheila M. Fagliano |

Next on horseback we proudly present our 2014 Rodeo Parade Grand
Marshal, Sheila Cardoza-Fagliano. Sheila is a Livermore native and lives with
her husband Paul and son Armando on their ranch outside Livermore. She's also
the Community Relations Manager for Livermore Sanitation. Sheila is very
involved in our community, actively participating in our Rotary Club, The
Livermore Stockmen’s Rodeo Assoc., The Livermore Junior Rodeo, and several more.
We thank Sheila and her family for their support to our community, and
congratulate Sheila on being chosen Grand Marshal of our Parade! We're very
proud of you!

#13 - Junction Ave. K-8 Color Guard
|

Please welcome the Junction Avenue School Color Guard. This
year, the team competed in four Winter Color Guard Shows. They took a 1st place;
2nd place; 3rd place and a 4th place. They've also performed at Junction
Avenue’s rallies and Open House. Today they will be performing to the "Dance of
the Witches" by John Williams.
